One of the best things about working at a startup is the opportunity to ‘wear many hats’. This means that you do things outside your specialism. We encourage this and want you to grow and develop professionally, push yourself, and bring new skills to the team.

As such we have an unlimited professional development budget. Yup, no cap. If you can prove that by up-skilling in whatever way, and it is in the best interest of Mojo and our members, then we are keen that you do it. We will pay for it and give you the time and space you need to be successful.

Yes, the higher the cost, the greater the burden of proof that it will help you in your professional development and Mojo that is needed. But we will help you build your case.

What counts as professional development**?**

It could be used to attend a course, buy a book or subscribe to educational material etc. If you can show that it will help you in your role at Mojo or a role you want to move into, then we would be delighted to support you.

What's the process**?**

  1. Identify the course/material that you think will help
  2. Talk to your line manager about whether this is applicable to your role
  3. Once signed off, you can pay. Use a company card or your own card. Whichever suits you better. Ask to borrow a card if you don’t have one.
