At Mojo, we believe in the power of balance. Face-to-face time helps us build a strong culture and strengthens our relationships. Being together also boosts creativity and sparks innovation. On the other hand, working from home increases productivity and allows us to focus without interruptions. Combining both is key to our success.

In-Office Schedule

• Three-Day Standard: our team are in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. These are our core in-person days.
• Two-Day Schedule: a minority of the team are on two day in the office contracts. This typically applies to people living 90+ minutes from the office. They are in the office every Monday and Thursday.

Remote Contracts

For some select roles we are open to offering remote contracts. These will be for specific positions and will always be within +/- 2 hours time difference of our London or New York office.

Expectations for Additional Work-from-Home Days

We recognize there are times when working from home outside of our core schedule is necessary. However, we want to ensure these arrangements align with the needs of the team and the business.

Good Reasons to request Work from Home:

• You need uninterrupted time for deep focus on a project and have arranged with your manger in advance.
• You are feeling unwell and want to protect your colleagues by staying home. Thank you!

Not-So-Good Reasons to request Work from Home:

• Waiting for a delivery or tradesperson.
• Scheduling personal appointments like doctors, dentists, or haircuts.

We ask you to manage personal commitments during our regular work-from-home days: Wednesday and Friday. These are built into our hybrid model to provide flexibility for these kinds of tasks.

Why In-Person Matters

We value the energy and creativity that come from being together in person. Being in the office helps us collaborate, solve problems, and develop ideas faster. It also builds stronger connections between team members, which is crucial for our culture. That’s why we ask everyone to prioritize in-office days.

Exceptions that make the rule

There are times of the year when we will break from this mould as part of our I’m a Mojitos get me out of here policy. For a fortnight in February, August, and December we go full remote to allow Mojitos to enjoy the benefits of a more flexible working schedule.
